* The only thing deducted from your earnings is SparkHour's commission. We absorb all card / payment-processing fees on your behalf — what you see above is what lands in your bank account (before any VAT you may owe the FTA).
Unlike Peerspace or Giggster, SparkHour does not charge creators a service fee on top of your hourly rate. The price a creator sees is the price they pay (plus VAT and any Additional Fee you set). This is how we help creators keep coming back — and how you get more bookings.
After your 5th completed, non-refunded booking OR 30 calendar days from when your first listing goes live — whichever comes first. We'll tell you in advance before the rate changes.
The introductory period is tied to you as a studio host, not to each listing. Your first 5 bookings across all your studios count toward the threshold.
After each booking completes without dispute, your earnings become eligible for payout (a short holding period applies). SparkHour then transfers your balance by bank transfer to the UAE IBAN on your profile. Make sure your IBAN is saved under Profile → Settings.
Refunded bookings don't count toward your introductory 5 bookings. If the creator cancels under our refund policy, you're paid out the retained portion (minus the commission on that portion) exactly as described in the Cancellation Policy.
If your annual taxable turnover is above AED 375,000, you must register for VAT with the UAE Federal Tax Authority and charge VAT on your bookings. Full details in the Studio Host Agreement §6.5.
